Since its foundation, Wikimedia Canada has been managed by volunteers, mostly the members of the Board of Directors. 
As a follow-up to the strategic plan, the Board of Directors hired WMCA’s first employee, Mr. Louis Germain, Executive director. 

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of Mr. Guillaume Lafrance, treasurer of Wikimedia Canada since 2016. He will end his mandate on December 31st. Thank you Guillaume for all the time and energy you have invested in the success of Wikimedia Canada’s projects!
